This explains what personal data Rogue collects through roguemarketing.info, why, who helps us handle it, and the rights you have over it. The short version: we only collect what you send us, we use it to reply to you, and we don’t track you around the site.
Who we are
Rogue Marketing Ltd (“Rogue”, “we”, “us”) is a marketing agency based in Galway, Ireland. We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy.
For anything to do with your data, email hello@roguemarketing.info.
What we collect and why
When you use our contact form, we collect your first and last name, your email address, your business name, what you’re looking for, and your message. We use them to reply to you and to talk about working together. Our legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries.
When you join a waitlist for one of our products, we collect your email address and which product it’s for. We use it only to tell you when that product is available. Our legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by emailing us.
When you visit the site, the services that deliver it to you (see below) receive your IP address and basic browser information, because that’s how web pages, images and fonts reach your device. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a website that works and is secure.
If you email us directly or message us on Instagram, we use what you send to reply. Instagram’s own privacy policy covers messages sent through it.
Cookies and tracking
This website does not use cookies, analytics, advertising trackers or tracking pixels, and it doesn’t store anything on your device. If that ever changes, we’ll update this policy and ask for your consent first where the law requires it.
Who handles your data for us
We use a small number of service providers, who process data only on our instructions:
• Vercel Inc., which hosts the website and processes form submissions • Sanity, our content system, which stores enquiries and waitlist sign-ups and delivers the site’s text and images • Google, which delivers the website’s fonts • Resend, which emails us a copy of each enquiry and waitlist sign-up so we can reply quickly • our email provider, when we reply to you
We never sell your data, and we don’t share it with anyone else unless the law requires us to.
Transfers outside Europe
Some of these providers are based in, or use servers in, the United States. Where your data leaves the European Economic Area, it is protected by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or by the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
• Enquiries: up to two years after our last contact with you, unless you become a client, in which case we keep what we need for our client records and legal obligations • Waitlist sign-ups: until we’ve told you the product is available, or until you ask us to remove you, whichever comes first • Technical logs: kept briefly by our hosting and content providers for security and troubleshooting, in line with their own policies
Your rights
Under data protection law you have the right to:
• get a copy of the personal data we hold about you • have it corrected if it’s wrong • have it deleted • restrict or object to how we use it • receive it in a portable format • withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on consent
To use any of these rights, email hello@roguemarketing.info. We’ll reply within one month.
If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission, Ireland’s data protection authority, at [dataprotection.ie](https://www.dataprotection.ie).
Keeping it safe
The website is served over an encrypted connection. Enquiries are stored in a private part of our content system that only signed-in, authorised people at Rogue can see. They are never published on the website.
Children
Our website and services are for businesses. They aren’t aimed at children under 16, and we don’t knowingly collect their data.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal data, we’ll update this page and the date at the top of it.
